ASI welcomes new Sales Representative, Joel Tomme, who joined ASI this month. Based in Texas, he will be handling accounts in both Texas and Nebraska.
Joel has worked in power plants for almost 30 years. He started out working in the lab doing hands-on testing for water chemistry, flue gas chemistry, and then moved into a position overseeing the laboratory and water chemical processes. His responsibilities over the years have grown to include project management and accounting responsibilities. His years of experience in many areas and in many different types of power plants make him a wonderfully well-rounded person to represent ASI.
Joel holds Bachelor’s degrees in communications and history from Texas A & M University – Commerce and an Associate’s degree in chemistry from Kilgore College.
He is eager to speak with facility representatives to address their needs from a water chemistry perspective, fuel handling needs, and ways to improve plant processes.
On the off hours, Joel loves being out in the woods, fishing, and spending time with his adult children Alison (26) and Jacob (23).
